About us.
Seera Association is a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Louisiana to engage exclusively in religious, educational and community activities in conformity with the Quran and the Sunnah (Traditions) of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). Seera was founded in 2024. We are a growing community with a very diverse group, from all ethnic backgrounds. Although our backgrounds are very diverse, we hold true to the principle that we are all brothers and equal in the site of Allah (SWT). We each bring different strengths and collectively strive to fulfill the obligations of our deen according to the principles of the Quran and Sunnah.

Our vision is to be open and embracing to all schools of thoughts, cultures, ethnicities and nationalities while still being steadfast on the core Islamic values as prescribed by the Qur’an and Sunnah which includes:
Features Of the Masjid
Seera is in an industrial area encompassing 3 acres of land on a large corner street. The mosque covers 7,000 square feet, featuring a spacious prayer hall of approximately 3,500 square feet.The facilities within the mosque include an Imam’s office, five classrooms, a kitchen, and a coffee room.
